A Regular Tech Bonanza!

As opposed to any type of special tech bonanza..... All kidding aside though, this site is a collection of tech resources aimed primarily at my students in the Media Studies department at Vancouver Island University. So it stands to reason, partner, that there is a whole lot of demos, tutorials and workshop type materials on this site. Even more to the point, I suppose, the materials themselves are organized primarily around the courses I teach, rather than any particular technology headings. This may make the site rather less than ideal for anyone not in one of my courses. However, I have no objection to anyone taking what they can from the site. If you find something useful - help yourself. I'd be much obliged if you could throw on a linkback for any specific materials you use elsewhere.

magnolia blossom About DIGI Doug
Digi Doug is one of the personas that I occupy in my role as a faculty member at Vancouver Island University. In my Digi Doug guise, I'm usually knee-deep in all things Net. My courses cover a range of digital media from video to advanced web design. I'm also involved with digital art, physical computing and a few other odds and ends. When I'm not working, I can usually be found riding my bike around the Cowichan Valley, designing furniture or watching films.
